The Lucky39 Archive is a project undertaken to research and document the contemporary geography of a world that no longer holds its shape — the flooded interior of a place known to its engine only as Beyond Collision.
Between 18 June and 8 August 2026, the Courier — designated 39, in white field uniform — was recorded drifting across this sea without shore or destination. Of the 104,463 positions logged, three hundred have been selected, catalogued, and are held here as documents. Each may be reconstructed, in full, from a single number.
The documents are attributed to the Courier and to the engine that carried her. Neither can be located.

The Courier was recorded carrying a delivery whose recipient, contents, and destination are not documented. She was directed by coordinate; the coordinates continued after the world they described had ended.
The documents suggest a person who had stopped marking days; who wrote, she said, because writing was what she had left; who kept walking though nothing awaited. The archive makes no claim as to her condition.
Across the record her account grows quieter. In the final documents it becomes difficult to distinguish the Courier from the sea she was sent to cross. Whether she continues to move, or whether the water now moves in her place, is not established.
The number 39 is assigned. Its meaning is not recorded.
The survey was conducted entirely within the region the engine names Beyond Collision, between the coordinates 3,000,000 and 5,000,000, where physics persists but the ground does not.
| COORDINATE (X) | REGION | CONDITION |
|---|---|---|
| 0 – 102,400 | Designed World | the world as it was built |
| 102,400 – 143,360 | Liminal Terrain | content ends; walls turn to air |
| 143,360 – 4,069,000 | Beyond Collision | no collision; the survey is conducted here |
| 4,069,000 – 4,096,000 | Stream Void | the engine can no longer find the ground |
| 4,096,000 – 134,217,728 | Infinite Ocean | water without end |
| 134,217,728 (2²⁷) – | Void | precision fails; no position is real |
The Courier was directed by coordinate. Where the coordinate approached the Stream Void — near 4,069,000, at which the engine can no longer locate the ground — it was wrapped from 5,000,000 back to 3,000,000. She was therefore instructed, in effect, never to arrive.
At 134,217,728 — two to the twenty-seventh — the numbers describing the world exceed the precision available to hold them. Beyond this point no position is real. The Courier did not reach it.
The archive makes no claim as to the existence of the sea.
Of 104,463 positions logged during the survey, three hundred were selected for this archive. The remaining 104,163 are not reproduced.
They are identical, and they are not. Each was a real position; each could be drawn again from its number. They are held in the sea.
Each mark stands for approximately fifty documents held and not reproduced.

Enter a date and time within the survey (18 June – 8 August 2026). The nearest recorded position will be retrieved from the 104,463 logged. Positions not among the three hundred are reconstructed here, at the terminal, from their seed and parameters — the archive holds no copy of these images; each is drawn again when asked for.
